Just Do It!
These are simply, in no particular order, my goals for this semester...
- learn a lot and excel in my courses.
-->HOW? study. attend my classes (sorry college bio, for failing at this this morning). take copious amounts of punctual notes.
-get in shape.
-->HOW? be more conscious of my dietary intake. increase gym attendance (you aren't pay for a Gold's membership for nothing, Grace). Zumba. Walk more places.
-pray for someone specific on a weekly basis.
-->HOW? pretty simple. just pick a person who needs the blessings, and do it!
-become a better disciple of Chirst.
-->HOW? daily prayer and scripture study. attending all church meetings(score on doubling up every Sunday so far for 6 hours of church!). Go to all my institute classes. Choose church/institute activities over dance parties and other similar social gatherings. Pick a topic a week to write atalk on, causing me to research that topic in more depth thank I usually would.
-become a better cook.
-->HOW? allrecipes.com and utilizing all those cookbooks I've bought the past couple years.
-present myself more professionally, so I'm prepared for dressing like a professional once I graduate.
-->HOW? go through my closet and donate my trendy stuff, and make more room for practical, busness casual type clothes. Bring on the cardigans!
-be more globally and econoicmally aware.
-->HOW? read the papers (thank goodness for free WSJ, SLT, DN, NYT from the school). Go to symposiums. Research online material.
- pick a grad program.
-->HOW? continue researching and talking with advisors to figure out what will help me get to my ultimate goal.
-read a book a month from my list of need-to-reads.
-->HOW? reading at work, while on the bus, in between classes, and limiting extraneous internet usage.
